This
is my dog Coby. He is a Giant Schnauzer, so he has a beard. I love his
black and soft fur. We bought Coby when he was four months old (I was four years
old then) and before that he was a little and poor dog in Poland. There he
lived outside of a house and had only stones to eat. We had him to get used
to the food and the family life. Sometimes he runs into the wood and rumbles
with wild pigs. One time we had to take him an animal clinic because he was
hurt. Coby has growled and barked at me, and he hated me. I thought I hated
Coby during this time, too.
But with a lot of time and patience, he began to like the family life. I
trained with him a lot, so Coby learned some tricks. He is the cleverest dog
in the world, I know. Now Coby is my best friend and I'm his best friend too.
When I'm feeling sad or am ill, I play and cuddle with my sweet dog and then
I feel good. Flocke (our second dog, a Labrador Retriever) and Coby are
friends and when I haven't got time for him, the two of them play together.
