Murray
came into our care as a foster dog after he was found abandoned in a
parking lot. We'd had him just three days when we decided that we wanted to make
him a permanent member of our family.
Being small (ten pounds [4.5 kg]), Murray gets cold easily. He sports a jaunty little
sweater when he goes outdoors on chilly days. His favorite place to be at
night during the cool months is under my sweatshirt, but during the heating
season you will usually find him sprawled out on our little hearth, absorbing
the heat from the stone as the glow of the flames warms his belly.
Murray's best friend is our Corgi/Collie mix, Dori, whom we also adopted from
our local canine rescue. The two are inseparable.
