We
got Dusty a month ago. The only thing our children asked for Christmas was
a puppy. The timing was great since my friend's dog just gave birth to two
puppies. So we brought him home. From the first day he was such a character.
In a few days he knew where the dog food is kept and whenever he was hungry
he would just go and get his favorite dog food to to open. He was very
careful, patient and diplomatic with our other dogs until he was able to blend in.
The first week we had Dusty, he kept falling into the swimming pool until we
realized that he does it on purpose! He loves swimming! He hates shower,
though. The funniest thing that he does is this. Just before every nap he
"asks" us to open the refrigerator for him so he can go inside to cool down
before sleeping. But most of the time he just falls asleep there and then we
have to move him. I guess it's his Siberian blood talking! :)
