Sunny
was what one might call a bribe gift. One Christmas, after a brief
discussion about what it would have been like to have children, lo and
behold, there was this scrappy little being staring at me with utter innocence.
I couldn't help but love her, as she allowed me to do all the things my
beagle didn't, like smother her with foolish baby talk and endless hugs,
hard, loud smooches, and ridiculous dress-ups. That said, she's staunchly
independent once she wriggles from my death grip. She's very content to be on
her own, and only the mention of "TREATS" brings her running in my direction!
I have come to make Sunny almost solely responsible for starting my day off
right. Her sweetness is nothing I have known until now. Although she has no
grasp of obedience, she is appreciated by others for her exuberant greetings
and kisses; and she will bounce like a Tigger in the doorway until you enter!
Sunny truly makes my heart smile, I am totally addicted to this pup!
