Kali
came to us from a pet store at the age of three months. She was a
'discounted' dog but has turned out to be a diamond in the rough. Kali has a
personality such that you forget she is a dog. She talks to us, cuddles with
us, sulks when she doesn't get her own way, and hides when the word "bath" is
mentioned. She has her own chair at the dinner table and sits nicely while
her family eats their food. Her favorite visitor is her Poppy (who always
knows where her treat cupboard is). Her best friend is a Samoyed named Echo.
She has her own bed at the foot of our bed (thus a bunk in a bunk!), her own
sofa, and three other beds strategically placed throughout the house. She
loves her morning full body rubs by her Mommy.
Her job is to wake up her big brother and sister with lots of kisses in the
morning. Play time involves a combination of her many toys and her daddy. At
the end of a long day, we can all count on her greeting us with lots of
kisses and excitement. A day at the Spa is just what the doctor ordered for
Kali - every girl loves a pampering! Kali participates in all family
activities - Christmas, Halloween etc. A car ride for a family outing is
always exciting with Kali along.
