He's just a top little bloke. When I got him him from the RSPCA, he had gum disease and had lost ten teeth and covered in fleas. He weighed only six kilos and was found as a stray. He hadn't been desexed and was in a pretty rough state. They were considering putting him down. Anyway ,I took him home and he's put on three kilos and he's the best little mate I could have wished for. Also he actually smiles when he first sees you. His lack of teeth make his mouth look like an old piano in a public bar, though.
Tommy is the most affectionate little dog ever, he actually wraps his arms around me when I get home from work. He cries and howls like a Dingo, runs around the house and leaps up on the back of the couch. He watches TV and if it's a show with a dog in it, pays very close attention and watches it. If I turn off the channel, he starts howling until I put it back on that channel.
As for tricks, he returns a tennis ball, and is a great watch dog - he watches people come and watches them go (only joking). There's absolutely no nastiness in him, he loves other dogs and people and sleeps on my bed. We are really good mates and I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to him. I love him dearly. I don't know where he came from, but I'm glad he came into my world.
