Bogie recently broke her leg playing tetherball, but will be back swimming and has a lot of heart! We know you can't keep a good dog down.
On a normal day we go for a four-mile walk. During the summers and spring and fall, Bogie swims in the canal while I hold her leash. It looks like I'm walking my pet fish! We live in the Phoenix area and it gets really hot. She's very active and likes to run beside our bicycles.
Bogie is friends with our two cats. One of the cats lets Bogie chew on his head! She has learned a lot of tricks: Speak, wave, roll over, down, leave it (with a treat on her paw), sit, stay, nap, go to bed and even go to the bathroom! She seems to like every dog she meets, but gets overwhelmed in a crazy dog park sort of situation. She is very easy going and doesn't get frustrated when someone takes her toy, puts a hand in her food bowl, or anything like that. She is a shy eater - she waits until she can eat in private! That is probably an instinct from her coyote side. We love her!
