What makes my dog special is his bright smile and how amazingly friendly he is! He's full of personality! He is all attitude, silliness, sweetness all rolled up into a big ball of beautiful fur. He also has the most amazing coat and last but not least he is MY best friend!!
Sarge is my first Husky - in fact, he is my first dog ever! In 2010 I moved into my own house and I've always wanted a dog. Now it was my time!!! I searched the local shelters web pages day in and day out just looking to see who needed a home. I wasn't breed specific but I was looking for more of a larger dog, Lab, retriever size. I saw Sarge just a few days after Christmas. I had a friend working at the shelter at the time a few days a week. I asked him about him and he said he would meet him the next day. He called me and told me I should come meet him that following Saturday (Jan. 8th, 2011). So I did. I was told another lady had been to visit him. I was nervous but I said if I'm going to do this, just do it! So I took him home that day!!
So much love and joy he has brought to me! As for tricks, he knows the basics; shake, kisses, sit and sometimes lay down! His favorite game would have to be tug! He loves playing with his treat dispensing balls and walks of course! I'd say he's more of an independent type but has become more affectionate over time. He's also seems to becoming more vocal with age! Wooo wooos!
