Introducing Ariana-Hera, Hera for everyday use! She's my sweetheart! I got her as a surprise: my parents took me before my
12th birthday party to get my cake from the cook's house, as they said. I really believed them, too. So imagine how surprised
I was when the "cook" put in my hands a 2-month-old German Shepherd puppy! And we even took her home with us!
Her first meeting with my other dog scared her at first, but now they are best friends!
Hera is undoubtedly strong, even stronger in personality than my other dog! I remember when she was 4 months old,
a reputable dog trainer came from America and a friend invited me to take part at his dog defending tests. Hera wasn't afraid at all, even at her young age;
even so I could hardly keep her when the trainer came to me! She and I were sitting my dad's car with a window left half-opened. The trainer came, and
I can say that Hera got very mad! He introduced a classic chew toy, through the half-opened window, meant to be the weapon, but my little girl didn't show any interest in it it.
Moreover, she surprised the trainer by biting his hand! Later, he told us he had never seen such a clever dog.
Now Hera is a big spoiled madame, elegant and as brave as she has always been. She loves us unconditionally, loves giving us her paw and kissing us. She's definitely a lap dog: when she has the opportunity (when she spots us sitting on bench)she jumps on us and lays on us, such as a kitten! When we pat or scratch her, she makes a special sound, between a growl and a whining, trying to talk somehow. But what she loves most is laying in her cage, watching us with her full-of-love, half-opened eyes. Although she was spayed about two years ago and seems to be a goof ball, Hera is surprisingly fit, which makes her look like a diva in combination with her lovely straight back. I adore her so much!
