We got Loki in May and he started having seizures right away. We soon figured out he's an epileptic. After the necessary shots at the veterinary office, as much as we've been scared for losing him, his life is much nicer and carefree with medication. I'd be happier, though, if dog medications for epilepsy were as far ahead as human ones.
Despite the bad luck of his illness, he's a complete sweetheart. He plays like crazy every single day and loves to place his head on your lap when begging for food so you can't avoid making an eye contact with him! He gets along with all of the animals and is a very lazy dog. By that I mean he always ends up laying down when he eats or drinks no matter how hard we've tried to get him to stand! Of course shoes are his favourite chew toy, he is still a puppy, but it's a funny thing. He always goes to bring a shoe from a person that he's sort of mad at for not getting him food or something! He just brings their shoe and chews and runs away with it as if doing it on purpose, and he always makes us laugh hard.
When on leash, Loki loves to bite on it and gallop like he's walking himself and I'm not even joking. He's a very proud but a stubborn boy with a personality similar to any human. He often holds grudges and looks away no matter how much you'd be waving at him with his favourite food! He's just a pure gem to have and I wish for him to live for many, many years.
