We saw Rouge, with her mom, roaming the streets nearby. Only a short time after, Rouge and her mom (Mystic) were taken to the dog pound. We learned where they were holding her and quickly adopted the two dogs.
Rouge has some shyness problems and Mystic isn't that great of a mom. (We think Rouge was apart of her first litter, and her former owners abandoned her.) The two dogs couldn't be separated, but since then we have given them training. Rouge now has very little shyness problems left,and does great with other dogs and cats. She lives with her mom, Mystic, and her younger adopted sister, a 10-month-old female golden and white Basenji mix named Chablis. She will never have to worry about being abandoned ever again!
