Miley is a one-year-old Corgi/Red Heeler mix that we adopted right before Christmas
from a shelter when she was just ten weeks old. My son and I were "just looking" since
my daughter wasn't with us at the time. Then we saw Miley in her little red Christmas
sweater. As soon as my son held her and she nestled her head on his shoulder, I knew
she was ours. (My daughter fell in love with her instantly when they met, as well.)
Miley has such a fun personality! Everyone who meets her can't help but love her. No
matter where I am in the house, she has to make sure she's with me. She loves squeaky
toys, catching her frisbee (in midair!) in the backyard, and shredding toilet paper or
tissues from the trash. She likes the sand at the beach but won't go near the water. She
is wary of fireflies and despises the vacuum cleaner.
Miley instantly became part of the family. I hope she's with us for a long, long time.
