Hi, my name is Suzy, and I am wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I could be a spokesperson for why people should adopt pets from a shelter. The next to last picture is of me taken at the shelter, laying on my bed. As you can see, I was scared and cold. Then 24 hours later in my new home, I was all warm and content. What a difference a day makes after being adopted.
Mom said I was a perfect angel on the ride home. Then I got to meet my new brother and sisters. We have a nice fenced-in yard to run around in. I quickly learned where the food dish was and enjoyed two bowls full. Mom passes out treats and we all have to wait our turn to get some.
I haven't been here very long, but know this will be a great forever home. Mom said I'm a real fast learner. I learned my new name in no time, "Suzy." At the shelter I was just a number, can you believe that? I also learned that it's OK to jump up on the couch. In the evening we all sit up there and watch TV. I have to sit right beside Mom and lay my head on her lap.
I'm also getting along very well with my sisters. I really like having a big family. This just may be the best Christmas ever.
