I picked Tuco out of his litter because the first thing he did was chase the breeder's house cat. After not catching the cat, he focused his attention on a large sack of onions hanging from a door, tearing the bottom out of the bag sending the onions rolling every where.
Twelve years later he still has that fire. Even though he is slowing down, he still groans when he gets bored. Everything you have read about the cattle dog he is. He is exceedingly smart, loyal, protective, stubborn, territorial, etc. Some of his herding instincts have proven to be difficult to control now that we have small children. But we wouldn't have it any other way. He runs this house.
