My dog's name is Rookie. His age is either 9 or 10 because he is a rescue, so we do not know for sure. That is the veterinarian's guess. His breed is certain, though - a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. There is just no mistaking that!
My dog is special because he loves playing with his tire and his Kong with treats in it. Because he is a rescue, we just know he has been through terrible trauma, and because of it, he hates fireworks.
But Rookie was not content to be rescued himself. He is so special he rescued a dog off Langley Road that we named Rita, she is a Staffordshire like him, but is black and white. She has now officialy been adopted by a lovely foster family, too. So Rookie is special to more than just our family! We love him very much.
