Brienne was adopted a few months after losing our bulldog, Logan. We paid visits often to the breeder before we decided to adopt. My mother and I were playing with the puppies and one stuck close by her. When we finally adopted, the breeder told us that the puppy we chose was that one. It was truly meant to be.
We named her Brienne because of the TV show, "Game of Thrones." In the show, there is a blonde female warrior who is tall, strong, and who is the protector of children; her name is Brienne of Tarth. We thought that this was the perfect name and she lives up to its potential. Our Benne is an amazing, wonderful dog and our family loves her with all of our hearts.
