This is Gretel and she's a Dachshund: half a dog high, and twice a dog long! That makes her sassy and playful - and just a little bit cute. She is 20 months old now, and she copes well with her two brothers, Hansel and Tokie, whom she bosses about regularly.
She loves cozy warm places to nap, after chasing squirrels in the park, of course! Her favorite food is chicken, especially if it's roasted, and if you can spare her a small spoonful of your rice pudding as a treat she'll be your best friend for life. Gretel enjoys being a couch potato when evenings are cold, and enjoys watching CountryFile by the fire. But don't think she's too lazy ... she's our personal alarm clock and will always get us out of bed bright and early when she think's it's time to start the day!
