Ivy was adopted along with her brother Finnigan on June 7, 2015 from a Basset Rescue in Ohio. I know nothing about her past as they were just dropped off at the depot. I know she is Beagle, Basset Hound and a some Chow Chow as I had a DNA done). Why anyone would get rid of her, I'll never ever know.
Ivy appears to have been bred several times and she is very motherly. Her right leg is a bit crooked and appears to have possibly been broke or caught in a trap so she limps a little but gets around fine. She is the sweetest little girl in the world and likes lots of attention and doggy treats. She also loves giving what we call butterfly kisses.
She takes care of her brother by licking his face or his body if he's been in the rain. It's adorable. She and her brother have an electronic doggy door that they have access to during the day so they don't have to wait for mommy to come home to do their business. It's a great device. She also has two comfy therapeutic beds that she loves. She also loves walks in the woods and doesn't even need a leash as she always stays close. She is a good little girl and always listens and is well behaved. I am blessed and thank the person that dropped her off, as it became my WIN!!!
