This is the happiest pupper I have ever met. I've never seen a dog smile like she does. She was so scared when I brought her home and over the past month, she has blossomed into the sweetest dog, with the cutest and most playful personality.
I grew up having dogs and have always loved all dogs, however I have never had one on my own. She is my first! I got her when she was three month old. I would randomly check petfinder a few times a month just to browse not so much looking. Until I saw her. I went to see her in the next county over and found out she had a week and a half left. Her conditions were deplorable. She was in a dark, cold room by herself, she was so scared and I knew I couldn't leave her there. So four days later I brought this timid little ball of love home.
Within two weeks she blossomed into a full blown puppy, loving and playful. She loves to hear the words "outside" and "treat" and "bedtime." I was crate training her but one night I let her sleep with me and she's the best snuggle bug. She loves car rides and every singe person she meets. She loves to sit in my lap while I drive and hang her flappy ears out the window. When she gets excited she doesn't wag her tail, she wags her whole butt!
Freya can sit, lay down and, when I'm giving her treats, I tell her to "be sweet" so she takes it gently. Her favorite toys are marrow bones, anything that squeaks, and tennis balls. She can play fetch and when she's hyper and it's time for bed her favorite games are hide and seek, and running around the furniture too fast for me to catch her. Hahaha. She will give you all of the puppy kisses you could ever want, and she likes her belly rubbed. Sometimes if she's being extra good while I eat, I'll give her a small bite of my food and she loves it. She loves to run, being a small but fast dog. She hasn't met a single person she doesn't like. When you try to take her toys she growls at you and then pants.
She doesn't like baths but loves streams and likes to poke her head in the shower while I'm in there. She recently mastered going up and down the stairs and full blownpotty training. She's had a few medical issues that are still in play but that doesn't stop her one bit, she keeps on keeping on like nothing ever happens. I love my little rescue baby, but she came to me at a very low point in my life and right now I can honestly say, I don't know who rescued who.
I want to help spread her happiness around the world! I hope she has given you a smile.
