Zaar is a rescue from Hull's Haven Rescue in Manitoba, Canada. He was rescued from a puppy mill. When we got him he was thin and bald from malnutrition. When he was placed in a foster home, a nearby neighbor tried to steal him and harm him so we took him into our home for emergency purposes. He was supposed to leave in a few days. He is a terrier /Heinz 57 mix (We're not too sure, he is a rescue).
He stayed with us the night, and our other dog, Audi was playing with him like there was no tomorrow and tuckered her out ... which is saying something. (Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix = ENERGYYYYYYYY!) My husband came home from work the following day and Zaar didn't leave his side (Audi is pretty much my dog). Hubby fell in love and he's been here ever since!
He is the yin to Audi's yang. She's mostly black with white and he's the opposite. She's energy and crazyness all the time, and he's calm and gentle. (Unless you poke him, he hates being poked ... and the vaccum ... and the hairdryer.)
