What can I say about my big red dog, Clifford, other than he is special in every way. He is one of the kindest , gentlest, silliest labs you will ever meet. A Labrador Retriever through and through, he loves any body of water from the ocean, to his swimming pool, to even puddles in the street. He once even tried to fit himself into a beverage cooler containing melted ice! He loves to play and fetch, and he sits on your lap while eating his nightly microwave popcorn.
Everyone who meets him, loves him and they chuckle and say, "But of course!" when they hear that his name is Clifford. Clifford is four now, but he originally came to his forever home in Fairhaven, Massachusetts via United Airlines from a breeder in Minnesota.
He is called a Fox Red Labrador and is the first non-rescue dog that I have owned. All of my dogs have always been big dogs and each one has been unique and special. Clifford is just a gem. He has grown into a handsome dog, but to me he will always be a puppy at heart. I love him to death!!!
