This is my German Shepherd, Argos. Argos is currently nine months old but in the picture he was seven months old. This top picture was taken in Acadia National Park in Maine.
My dog is special as he protects me from threats without being trained. In the place where that picture was told a big scary looking person came up to me while my parents were far away. The person went to grab me, but Argos went crazy. He started barking, growling, baring his teeth at this person. He saved me. I will never be able to repay this debt but give him as much love as he does to me.
Argos is a very silly dog and loves to annoy my poor little Shih-Tzu, Browny. He's a tornado of trouble, chewing up my soccer cleats and a electrical wire. Argos loves hiking and swimming with the family. He nips playfully all the time but never bites hard. His favorite game is to find me when I hide in the forest behind my house. In the house if you sit on the couscous to watch tv, you have no hope as he will annoy you the entire time you sit there. His efforts include putting toys on top of you to play with or getting up and laying on top of you. He obviously feels he is more important than any televisio show.
We actually weren't looking for a male large German Shepherd. But once we saw him we just fell in love at first sight. He was a very expensive dog but my dad had done some paperwork online for the store, so they gave us a huge discount. We immediately took the opportunity. I hope Argos will impress you as much as he has to me.
