This is Ben. He is twelve years old and he is a West Highland Terrier, commonly known as a Westie. Ben lives in Rhode island where he rules the roost - and yard! Ben is a very special dog because he is the first dog that I have ever had. Ben was diagnosed with a illness when he was one and a half years old. He got very sick and I was unsure if he would make it. Ben was strong and he pulled through!
He is a very happy dog that loves to cuddle and chase squirrels! He is all terrier, through and through - those squirrels have to be quick in our yard! Even when I have a bad day, Ben always seems to make it better. Ben makes it possible to enjoy every day!
