Pixie was originally gotten for my mom by my dad, but he made the mistake of getting her less than a week shy of my birthday. So I thought they were trying to pull a fast one on me and give her to me on my birthday, but nope, she was really gotten for my mom.
That said, however, they'd leave her with me for a few hours every day saying "here, you take this crazy fuzzball with teeth."Lucky for me, they forgot just how rambunctious a puppy often is and just how sharp a pup's teeth can be. Over time they started leaving her with me longer and longer to the point she's with me all the time now. So I guess I kind of ... commandeered her!
When she first arrived home she weighed only 2.6 pounds and she was just a tad timid of everyone and everything, including the camera. Now three years later at 4.9 pounds she has the heart and the courage of a Great Dane and then some. That is until she sees the nail clippers in my hand. Then she's off and running trying to find somewhere to hide as if her life depends on on it.
As you can tell from the pictures, she's a total sweet heart that now loves the camera and posing for it. And I, of course, love her!
