Mazie is our Brittany, and she is now ten years old. Mazie is our first Brittany Spaniel. She is a bird hunting dog, and while none of the family hunts, she still instinctively "points" to birds (as well as chipmunks and squirrels). Mazie has an extra large dog bed which she likes to lounge on. She also likes to sit next to the family on the couch.
Mazie has learned to give us her paw before she eats, and will sometimes proactively throw her paw in the air in hopes for some more food. She loves to play fetch, and only fetch, as returning the thrown object is of little interest to her. Mazie also loves walks, car rides, wading in water, and chasing small animals. She is very special to us.
