Introducing our King - like King James. He is just nine weeks old- and he is 10 pounds already! We got King when he was almost six weeks old! We already had two dogs. Pitch and Luke. My boyfriend Brian and I had been talking about getting a third dog, we just didn't know when, we wanted to find the perfect dog that could keep up with Pitch and Luke. A mutual friend had posted that the dog she is fostering had puppies. I seen the pictures and instantly was in love. I showed Brian and he was in love, too. We knew that day we were ready for dog number three. Our little family is growing! We picked King up later that night!
Getting the house ready for a puppy isn't fun, but shopping for a new puppy is. We're in the process of potty training and he is doing great with that he is starting to go to the door and cry! Overall he still sleeps a lot and bites everything in sitght. I sure didn't miss that puppy stage! It will be over soon enough, though, as they grow up so fast! He goes back to the vet on the 30th of April and I can't wait to see how much weight he has gained. I'm excited to keep watching him grow! Because we only know his mom's breed, we do not know for certain how big he will end up being, but it will be interesting to find out!
His likes include eating, cuddles, playing with my brothers, sleeping, blankets, Mommy and Daddy, all visitors, chewing on toys, dog park, treats and getting his belly rubbed.
His dislikes are bath time, not being able to jump on the couch or the bed just yet, vacuum, and being in his cage.
