Luke was a beautiful Golden Retriever with the sweetest face and heart you could ever meet. He loved the water, treats, and his sister ,the English Cocker Sophie. His favorite thing in the whole world was to lie in the water on the Oregon Coast. It involved water, sand, fun and family - doggie bliss.
When he was younger he would chase birds, as he got older he loved to lie in the waves. He hated the car though, so he did suffer a bit for his love of the coast. He was extraordinarily friendly, even by Golden standards, and both loved to greet new or old people and expected them to be equally thrilled to see him.
Luke was healthy his whole life until he developed seizures from what turned out to be a brain tumor. It was inoperable, and he was helped to the Rainbow Bridge with his loving family at his side. He is very very much missed.
