Maggie is a young lady, a possibly pitbull/shepherd mix who someone lost or threw away. We found her sitting by the side of the road and brought her home. After newspaper ads, flyers and word-of-mouth failed, she became ours, a lovely addition to our two other dogs and three cats. We will keep her for as long as it takes to avoid condemning her to a shelter. How anyone could not want her, or even dunp her, will always be a mystery to us.
She is beautiful, affectionate, bright and so eager to please. Her favorite pastime is sitting in the sun monitoring the many squirrels who inhabit our country property. She loves tummy rubs, rolling over on our feet to prevent us from walking away, and licking our hands. We love her very much.
