Max is a Black and Tan Coon Dog, he is now twelve years old, though this is an older picture from when he was younger. He lives with his family in Acworth, Georgia - a good Southern boy.
Max is a large dog but he is a super sweet boy. He plays with our children and he is so long legged that he can walk over them as he runs. He takes all the ruff housing the kids can put out. He can into the family as a unloved dog roaming the road. He was a little shy at first. You can tell he was never inside. But he learned to love it, The couch is his favrite place in the world.
It was the hardest thing in the world to leave him at the vet to get him neutered, We knew he loved his new home when he came home and jumped on the couch and layed his head on the arm and wagged his little tail. His biggest flaw is he not too fond of cats, He wants to chase them around the yard. But after a few scoldings he learned to take the abuse that the cat can give out. They chase him around the yard now. For a dog someone didn't want, he sure is a good for our family!
