These are pictures of our beloved canine companion, Harley. I do some photography work as well as other art forms (under the guise of GodLee Graphix) and along with my kids, he sometimes becomes my subject matter in my photos. He's four years old and is a purebred pitbull pup. Don't let all the stereotype shots at his breed fool you - he's a big softy. His best quality in fact is that he's so affectionate. However he can be a hyper ray of energy wanting to play one moment to a lazy ball of fur the next. He wasn't very fond of the costuming idea but I was fast enough to get a couple shots before he took the antler off. I plan to make future shoots more comfortable for him, as shown in the lounging photos.
He is our first pitbull. My girlfriend actually got him with her sister, and she (her sister) also got a (different breed) pup as well. It was just a spur of the moment companion decision of fate that brought him home mostly. His personality often is much like that of a spoiled child sometimes, in that he can be obedient but sometimes a 'no' means "wait til no ones looking to steal a cookie off the coffee table" or "go ask mom." He mostly just likes to run. So I guess to add to the personality he's comparable to a horse but indoors he's like a pampered cat. Water annoys him, he thinks he's sly and nimble (snack thief) and he sleeps a lot in random spots. He can be an attention-seeking diva of sorts. I'd say he's pretty dependent considering he likes attention and affection often. We sure love him.
