Monty is my sweet little baby. He is almost two years old, and he still acts so much like a puppy. He loves to play, and sometimes he digs through the trash to try and find toys and food. We have three cats, and another dog. He usually loves to play with our other dog, and he's so interested in chasing all three of the cats. He does love to play, but, at night, he gets incredibly tired. Sometimes he lays on the couch for hours! Usually, if I'm up late watching a movie, Monty will bark and yelp while standing at the entrance to his room, or at his crate where he sleeps, because he wants to go to bed. He never wants to stay up too late!
Monty also loves to be outside. If I don't take him on a long walk each day, he will stand at the door and sometimes bark. He just loves to run around! He's especially obsessed with cold weather. Eek! He goes so far away from me on his retractable leash, and sometimes pulls me with him.
Like I said, he loves to play. He doesn't really like chew toys or tug-of-war ropes, but he likes trash, and things he can tear up, such as soft toys and stuffed animals. He takes things from the house, and tears them up when I'm not looking. He takes them into his yard, and comepletely destroys them. I'll have to buy new stuff at least twice a week. He also loves food. He takes things off the table sometimes, so it's very hard to teach him not to beg.
He does all these bad things, but I love him so much, and we have the best relationship!
