I would like to introduce my dog, her name is Sofie, she is a Wire-haired dachshund mix. She is 11 years old. I live in a town called Potchefstroom, South Africa. Sofie is very special to me because I got her two weeks before my dad died in 1998. She helped me through that difficult time just by being her silly, sweet self. She has the most amazing personality and loves to take long walks in the garden, especially in the lavender bushes!
She is great with children, even now that she is becoming an old lady. She tends to steal shoes or socks from my room, she can't sleep without a shoe or a sock in her bed. Even though she is a lady, she snores like crazy!
I really love my Sofie and cannot imagine my life without her.
