I want to introduce my son's dog, Gabriel. Gabriel is a Border Collie. He is six years old and lives with me. Why is Gabriel special, he is "his boy's" mom's caretaker. Gabriel is in my care as "his boy" is at college, but he really takes care of me. He helps me "get up and go" for those walks we both need to be healthy. We got Gabe from the Humane Society for "his boy's" 16th birthday and he has be more of a blessing to us than us to him. He loves 99% of the people he meets and is friends with the feral cats too!
Well, every one including a feral cat in our apartment complex loves Gabe. He is still a puppy at heart, even though he turned six in July. He loves the snow, hates the rain. He plays with "his" cat like another cat would. He is a fast learner even if I have not taken advantage of this. He learned to "high five" in 45 minutes. But don't, I mean don't pen him in, he'll tear the place down. He is a great dog an even but better companion. I bought him for my youngest son's sixteenh birthday. Gabriel ended up being the best gift I ever gave someone, but for me.
