This is Belle, she's a miniature dachshund and we think she's about nine years old. We'll never know for sure, though. She was abandoned on the main road near our house and people brought her to us because we already had another dachshund so they thought she was ours.
We have had her for about five years now. She's got that sad puppy dog look down like a pro since she was injured when she was found. She had to have her lower jaw wired to heal and 16 teeth were removed. No one can say no to a sad-looking pupper after all that. She may be a little spoiled, but she is ours, and that is truly what matters.
