These are photos of my boy, the first is more recent and the second is from a few months ago. Cash, an American-German Shepherd was named after the singer and guitarist Johnny Cash. We got him from a breeder in Pennsylvania who breeds American-Germans. My mother is a certified dog trainer and has done a few dog shows in the past, this is why she prefers American-Germans over German-Germans. The difference being that American-Germans have a slanted backside that makes them glide when they run, this is why they are used more in shows. German-Germans have a more muscular build and are used for police work.
Cash is a curious but shy dog and always wants to stay close to his mom, he always is wondering what everyone is doing and doesn't believe in personal space. He lives with me, my little sister, my mother, my father and our five-year-old German Shepherd named Bella. Bella is constantly getting annoyed by Cash. Whenever she does something he wants to do it too, she has a bone then he wants that bone too, she's drinking water so he will try and push her out of the way to drink water too. Bella always ends up putting him in his place again with a warning growl, but on occasion this doesn't work so he "slaps" her. He has developed a habit of "slapping" things, he will usually stare at you when you are watching TV, reading a book, etc. and then he brings his paw up and bats at your face or chest. He still has a lot to learn but I still love him.
