Hello, my dog's name is Castiel. He's a Pomsky who lives in Southeast Texas! He was born in January and is about as sweet as he can be! He was given to me as a sort of anniversary present from my mom, considering she knows how much I've always wanted a Husky. Getting a Husky/Pomeranian mix made him a perfect choice for an inside dog.
Castiel is very affectionate! He hates being alone more than anything and will hardly even take a nap in any room but the one that I'm in. He used to climb up on the chair and try to open the door via the doorknob when we left him in the house. Since we noticed his seperation anxiety could get pretty intense, we started leaving him in a closed in area at my brother's. My brother's presence is enough to keep him calm.
Castiel, or who we call Cass, loves people! He's well-behaved for a puppy, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have some growing up to do. He can be naughty, as he loves to chew on my husband's shoes, and eats any bugs he can find! He isn't food-obsessive, but he sure does love his water, playing in it as well as dumping it out one pawful at a time! What a mess!
One of Castiel's most impressive traits is his intelligence. He can learn just about any trick I wish to teach him in one day, and learns the rules and boundaries in no time! He really wants to please us humans. Especially me, his owner. That said, he still prefers to be walked at 6am and will often bark until I (or my husband) get up and walk him! He does well on a leash and absolutely loves to run and play with the other dogs in the neighborhood when their masters approve!
Another of his favorite activities is watching DogTV. He will sit there for hours and watch other dogs play or a simple street scene! That was a good investment!
Other than that, he likes to play fetch or just lounge around. In general, he prefers to do whatever in the world I am doing. Whether it's eating, walking, cleaning the floors, or taking a nap! He may be rather attached, but Castiel is the perfect dog for me! I can't imagine loving any other dog more!
