Buddy is special because I knew he was the dog for me when I first saw him. Also, the spot on his head is said to be a symbol of King Charles thumbprint. His breed is the number one choice of breed in England. He is cute and adorable, and loves to lay around and relax. I love him and love coming home from school to see him.
My name is Gabby and Buddy is my very best friend. Well, Buddy is very loving and gets so excited when I come home from school. He runs around and jumps and spins until I give him some attention. Then he wants a doggie treat and to go outside. Once we settle down and I do my homework, he just wants to crawl up into anyone's lap and go to sleep. He would rather sleep on someone's lap than on the softest cushion on the couch in the house.
Buddy knows how to sit and to shake hands and to go to his kennel, he's not very interested in any other activity except getting cookies (doggie treats) or sleeping ... he does a great job of sleeping, he even snores!
Buddy is so very affectionate, and he loves to give you kisses, so you need to watch out when he climbs up into your lap, or he will sneak a lick right on your mouth if you don't watch out.
King Charles Spaniels tend to have a lot of hair growing out of the bottoms of their feet. In Buddy's case, he has so much that when he runs on our wood surface floor, he slips and slides because he can't get any traction. Sometimes he slides right into the door or wall since he goes so fast. We help him out by keeping the hair trimmed from the bottom of his feet. I love him so much, I can't imagine not having him.
