Doodle is my Weimaraner female, and she's ten years old. What makes Doodle most special is, while she is a sweetheart to the family, others need not apply. She's a good watch dog and her bark alerts me to people walking by (or if the UPS man or postal lady is at the door). Her bark definitely scares people off. Doodle is my third Weimaraner since I was 18, and I'm 55 now.
She has a rescue Shar Pei brother named Austin, and he was very shy and skittish when he came to us. Doodle has helped him immeasurably by demonstrating what a loved dog life can be. He looks up to her, which is so sweet to see. We love Doodle very much.
