I have a nine-year-old Shih Tzu named Rascal. He has been a big and special part of our family ever since I brought him home. I had no problem training him to go outside. He loves playing with his toys, and he eats when we eat. At Christmas time, he also has presents under the tree and enjoys opening them just like the kids.
When I am sick he comes and lays beside me and puts his head on me as though he is comforting me. He sleeps in the bed,. You can say he is spoiled, but I just wouldn't know what to do without him. He is a big part of our lives and we enjoy him very much. He is my best friend.
