Joe was a Christmas present for my mother a few years ago. When we first got him he was the epitome of a puppy. Anything that was able to fit into his mouth (or not!) would be chewed up as soon as he could get his hands on it! It seemed like he would never rest, and he loved attention so much that he was instantly jealous of our other dog Katie. We quickly discovered that his favorite toy in the world was his ball, and then a frisbie came in second. Anything else he would play with and pull the stuffing right out of it.
His personality is what makes him extremely special. He will struggle to stay awake if someone is moving around in the house for fear of missing something exciting. He will wiggle from his nose to his butt in excitement when the word 'go' or 'outside' is mentioned, and he is a very quick learner. He picked up Sit, Kisses, Down, Stay, and Up very easily. He's still stubborn about rolling over, unless it's on his squeaky ball. He often tried to talk to, sometimes we swear we can hear the words 'mama' and 'I want to' make it's way out. And speaking of mama, one wave of the arm and he will barrel across the bed and wake her up with a kiss! He still loves to wake everyone up at 5 a.m. because he doesn't understand weekends, though. We still love him.
