This is Xander (a.k.a. "Brown dog"). He's such an animated little boy! Xander came into my life as a Hurricane Katrina rescue. As you can imagine, he was quite timid and somewhat skittish (and still can be except when he's just had a bath!). We have two other dogs at home - neither of which are anything like him, but Xander holds his own against his crazy 90 lb "brother" and energetic 12 lb "sister." You could say that he's kind of like the "Jan Brady" of the crew, but his quiet, loving attitude brings balance to our home.
Xander is such a handsome boy, and his breed is just a guess - maybe Sheltie and Australian Cattledog is what they told us. He's not as fluffy as those breeds, but he does definitely have a lot of herding instincts in him, and makes sure everyone is where they should be at all times in his own sweet way. I am so thankful that he's come into our lives. He is by far the most loyal friend I have ever had.
