Let me introduce to you our baby Emma Kay. Emma came to my husband and I through the internet. I placed an ad that I was looking for a small furry lap dog, thus the owner emailed me back about her.
The couple we got her from found her and couldn't keep her. She was neglected, beaten, and left out in the cold in freezing weather when they rescued her. They were moving to my hometown and the landlord wouldn't let them have dogs in the house, so they had to find a good home for her. I prayed that I would find a loving dog and that I did.
She was adopted by my husband and I and from then on we were smothered in her sweet personality. The moment I took her home, she didn't leave my side. The only time I leave her is when I have to go to work. She loves to snuggle in the bed, go for a ride in the car, tote my sock all over the house, and sit at my feet in the mornings as I get ready for work. Her favorite words are "It's Friday," she runs around in circles when I tell her that. She also likes to chase her brother Maddux, a Jack Russell Terrier, and her sister Chelsea Macayla, a Jack Russell Terrier also.
She has the sweetest personality I have ever experienced out of a pet. She is for the moment, if I am watching tv, she is too. She will sit by me the whole time, no matter how long. She isn't running around getting into everything. She is so spoiled that she doesn't even know she is a dog! I feel she was given to me as a gift from God and I wouldn't take anything for her. She is the best!!
