It is my pleasure to introduce Bacci Bogie, a four-pound adorable Maltese, whose human-like antics drew people to him wherever he went. People stood in line for his autograph as he performed funny tricks. Bacci traveled over 500,000 air miles as my 'jet pet' experiencing life in a very unique way. His hometown was Aspen, Colorado where he co-hosted my local television show for many years. I wrote his memoirs, titled "My Name Is Bacci Bogie; Frequent Flyer Extraordinaire." They were written from his point of view and in his voice.
Not only was he a loving, amazing pet but he was multi-dimensional. His generosity in reaching out to senior citizens, incarcerated teens and inner- city youth made him one in a million.

When he passed, the staff of the hotel we called our second home, held a vigil for him in the lobby. Most of all, Bacci was a great example of the multi-faceted richness that a pet can bring to those who love him.
