Her given name is Eleanor - but we always call her Ellie. She is special for many reasons. She has learned to wipe her feet if it's raining outside, she has just recently learned to catch her ball in the air! She overcomes her short legs by somehow being the best jumper I've ever seen. Ellie is also special because she suffers from an enlarged heart and recurring pneumonia, so she takes lots of medicine two times a day. But through all the health problems, she is still the happiest, most playful little lady I know. :).
Ellie is super affectionate, she loves to cram herself in to any small space if she has to, to be near her dad and me. She loves to ride in the car with her head out the window, she has actually learned how to put her paw on the window button and roll it down a bit. She plays fetch and she can do all the basic tricks [sit wait drop it] she is such a funny girl, she will roll around on her back for an hour just playing with her ball. She holds it between her paws in the air and plays with it in her mouth. Her favorite game to play is fetch, she will nudge and whine at us if we don't play with her. My most favorite thing about Elie is she has to have a pillow to lay on when she is napping, she lays her head on a pillow every time! She is super smart, when we are going some where I say 'Ellie, go get ready,' and she runs to the door and waits for me.
If I could use only three words to describe her, I'd say ... Playful, Loving, and Brilliant!
