Roxie was born end of January 2019. She was adopted in March of 2019. Her family has just lost their long time family member Tanner (yellow lab) to complications with old age and diabetes. Roxie's new family picked her up on a brisk sunny day and brought her home.
Her new father is a disabled Marine corps veteran who needs extra love and care. Over the next few months she experienced the life of a spoiled puppy bonding with her new family, playing in the backyard, and hiding in the clovers for someone to find her.
In August, she went to embark in a whole new world. She started her Service Dog schooling with a local trainer. Although her family misses her very much, she is learning life savings tasks and challenging herself to becoming the best service dog for her Daddy. She posts regular updates on instagram about her journey as the trainer updates her parents.
We look forward to having her home.
