I'd like to introduce my dog Jackson. Jackson is a five-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. He has a rough coat, long legs and is large for the breed which would put him in the 'outlaw' class were he attempting to be a show dog - which he is now.
Unlike most Jack Russells, Jackson is very mellow and well-behaved, but get him out in the wild and he's a tenacious hunter. Jack especially loves to go snow shoeing with me and is unfazed by snow that is so deep he literally has to 'swim' through it. He's also my heating pad on cold nights when he cuddles under the blankets and keeps me warm. Jackson has been "married" to my dog Daisy for four years and they have had twelve puppies, so his sweet personality will live on.
