My name is Jake and I am twelve years old. I live in Boca Raton, Florida with my mom, dad, and two little brothers, Peepers and Tweety. They are cockatiels. I am a teacup Maltese and I weigh 4 1/2 lbs. but I am definately the boss. I really am a cutie pie and everyone that meets me loves me.
He is very affectionate ... the dog of 1,000 kisses. He has a puppy cut all the time, as he is our baby and not a show dog, although his mom and dad were both champions. He took two obedience classes and he won awards twice for being the best "sitter". As soon as he sees food, he sits. When he goes for his walk he prances through the neighborhood and stops so everyone can come over and look at him.
He is fearless for a little guy and very protective of his mother ... but he really is a little baby - our little baby. He is special because he brings so much love to our home. He is gentle and loving. His best friend is his dad and since his dad retired he stays by his side all day.By the way, the reason he wears a belly bands at night is because he sleeps in our bed and is too little to get off and on the bed by himself and this prevents accidents.
