Our pet's name is Joe. We are not sure of his age but we think he is around eight years old. Our daughter found him walking down the middle of a main street here in Tucson Arizona where we live. Advertising brought no response so Joe adopted us as his new family. Joe is a mixed terrier. His mother was obviously visited by a number of traveling salesmen.
Joe was the only male dog among our three dogs. Each of the females are three times his size but he could always snarl and growl and get his way. However, recently we acquired a younger male Peekapoo. Initially Joe took it in his stride but he could see his reign weakening. So on the first day he started a fight to let the newcomer know who was in charge. Joe won, and to date, he remains the king of the castle.
