Bootsie is very special to me because when I was eight or nine my grandparents gave her to me for my eighth birthday. It was a surprise to me because I didn't know I was getting a dog for my birthday. She has been playful since that day, as she was only a puppy then. She got bigger, but still has her energy and puppy playfulness.
Bootsie enjoys running around the house like she is herding a flock of sheep, and she loves to bark at squirrels. That is what makes her special to me.
