Sóldögg is our gold-colored beauty, her name means Sundew in English. She is one quarter Alaskan Malamute (Husky), one quarter Wolf and half Labrador Retriever. Her coloring is completely from her Labrador parent, but you can see in her other pictures she has the thicker coat and fluffy tail from the Malamute/Wolf side. Her red-blonde lashes are particularly lovely, we think. She looks much different than our huskies, but considers herself one of the pack, especially during playtime.
We have a farm, so lots of open space for her to run and play, which she loves. She is the oldest of our dogs, and has moments of dignity the others do not yet manage. She is so sweet as well as beautiful. She is our beloved Sóldögg.
